Today was Sports Day for all the Primary school kids. I really feel like I just did a post on Sports Day and my kids, but I guess it was a whole year ago. Our only other Sports Day experience was a soggy, rainy, muddy one, so today, with the bright blue skies and hot sun was wonderful.
I think overall, the kids had a fun day, although both Kaitlyn and Nathan came home with awful headaches and low-grade fevers. Since we just had the stomach flu make its rounds through our family over the last couple weeks, I was hoping we'd stay healthy for a while now. But obviously something else is now visiting our family. Sigh. Maybe we'll get all the sickness out of the way and have 8-ish healthy weeks in the village.
