Thanksgiving

We usually end up celebrating Thanksgiving on Saturday here as trying to squeeze in a nice, festive dinner after a long day of school and work, and before the kiddos need to get to bed on a school night just is too crazy/doesn't feel at all special.

So yesterday we celebrated by having three families over for a huge Thanksgiving lunch. Boy, the house was full... there were 11 kids in all! But it was a fun time of hanging out, and eating way too much good food!

I had all these great plans of getting some good pictures, but then all the kids were starving and I just plain forgot to get the camera out until later. But here are a few snapshots of our time:

Our smorgasbord of desserts!

(J loves to be a "mommy" to Chloe -- 8 months younger-- and make sure her pacifier is in, and tries to help her get around, etc. It's pretty funny to watch!)

Nathan and his good friend Cameron

Kaitlyn, Hannah, Alina and Isaac enjoying dessert!
